Unless otherwise noted, performances of Merchant of Venice will be staged outdoors at the Whitin Mill in Whitinsville, MA or indoors, at the same location, in the Singh Theatre subject to weather. In the rare event that the Singh Theatre is not available during a rain delay and the performance needs to be cancelled, an announcement will appear on the home page after 5:30 p.m. All audience members who pre-purchase tickets through Brown Paper Tickets will receive a phone call if the show is cancelled, and pre-sold tickets will be available at any subsequent performance. All performances of Merchant of Whitinsville will be inside the Singh Theatre.
Folding chairs will be provided for all performances outside at the Riverside Piazza, but please feel free to bring your own comfy lawn chair. You are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy prior to the production. On Thursday evenings, Alternatives is also home to an outdoor Summer Concert Series. You are welcome to enjoy these free concerts, which end just before curtain for our performance inside at the Singh Theatre.
